Dear Parents

Our end of year has been exciting, entertaining and emotional as we say goodbye to our Grade 7’s.

The Carol Concert on Monday evening was outstanding.  It not only featured our school choirs and class choirs, but our marimba players, our Orchestra, which took up the whole stage, our soloists and our readers.  Congratulations go to all our Grade 3 – 7 pupils who took part and special thanks must go to our guest soloist, Mr Langeveldt, as well as to Mrs Bosha, for a wonderful start to our Festive Season.

We held our end of year Certificate Assembly yesterday morning, which was attended by parents of pupils receiving awards.  The Assembly was followed by class parties and a visit from Father Christmas who came to give presents to our ECD pupils, causing great excitement.  There was a mountain of food left over from the parties, which was donated to local charities including St Josephs.

We held our Prize Giving this morning and were very pleased to welcome an ex-pupil, Fadzai Muzoroza, as our Guest of Honour.

The Final event of the year will be the Grade 7 Leavers Dinner tomorrow evening.  Our Grade 7’s have been a wonderful year.  We will miss them all but wish them every happiness and success as they enter a new phase in their lives.

We would like to wish everyone a restful holiday, a Happy Christmas and a safe and blessed New Year.

Yours sincerely
