Dear Parents

We have now come to the end of a most successful and rewarding 1st Term.

A highlight of the term was last nights wonderfully entertaining Eisteddfod Concert.  Our congratulations and appreciation must go to all the nearly two hundred pupils from Grade 1 to Grade 7 who performed in this incredible concert and to Mrs Van Stryp and Mr Hartnack for their preparation of all the pupils for the Eisteddfod itself and the concert last night.  The concert was truly heart warming.

Please note that a DVD of the concert is being produced and can be ordered from the office.

Our sports ended on a great high as well with our Athletics Team winning the Girls Section of their division of the EPSA’s Inter-School’s Athletics last Saturday.  Our Cross Country and Athletics teams have had a most successful term.

There was great excitement this morning as the Easter Bunny had left paw prints all around the ECD, Grade 1 and Grade 2 classrooms and playground, all leading to Easter Eggs for the pupils.  It’s amazing how many of them actually saw the Easter Bunny.

There was also lots of laughter at the inevitable April Fools pranks and jokes this morning.  Two of the teachers caught me out, hook, line and sinker, as well.

Please note that statements for next term are being forwarded with pupils today.

It remains for me to wish everyone a Very Happy Easter and a relaxing and safe holiday.
