Newsletter – 07 February 2025

We are very pleased to inform you that in the interest of safety and reliability, we have purchased a new 67-seater bus to replace our current 64-seater.  The bus will be delivered ready for use, early next week.

We have also taken delivery of all but four of the new computers for the Computer Room.  Once all received, they will be installed to replace the old computers which are no longer compatible with the programmes we use.

Please note that further to the WhatsApp notification, the PTA will be holding their AGM on Thursday 27th February at 6:00pm in the School Hall.  All parents are encouraged to attend.  Nomination forms for prospective PTA Committee Members are available from the school office.

The AGM will be followed by a ‘Welcome Back Cocktail Party’ to which all parents are invited.

Our pile of lost property gets bigger daily.  Items found which are marked with the pupils’ names are returned to them.  However, items not named are put into lost property.  The number of hats, items of clothing, tennis racquets etc that are not named and end up in lost property is quite amazing and most unnecessary as items of clothing, sports equipment etc can have names simply written on them using a permanent marker.

We are also continuing to have many pupils that have obvious symptoms of flu, including high temperatures, sent to school.  Please note that our policy is that pupils who come to school exhibiting signs of flu and colds will be sent to sick bay.  Parents are then phoned to come and collect them as we do not have the facility to look after sick children.
