School was very colourful today as all pupils came dressed in their favourite book characters for Book Week Dress Up Day, which brings Book Week to a close, to promote reading for fun, to an end. Our Book Week coincides with International Book Day that was held yesterday. Book sellers were on hand at lunchtime today to sell books to pupils and parents.
On Wednesday we hosted our Annual Bishopslea Invitational Track Meet, which seven schools competed in. Congratulations go to our Athletics Team for winning the event.
We will be holding our Inter-House Sports Day next Saturday morning, 15th March. All pupils in Grade 3 – 7 participate and will be in at least two events.
Our Cross-Country teams travel to Lilfordia this afternoon to compete in the Three Woods Cross Country. We wish them every success.
We would like to sincerely thank Turnall Holdings for replacing the roof on our covered walkway, which had been damaged by falling branches. Their donation is greatly appreciated.
