Dear Parents
School was very colourful today with our pupils having made a huge effort to wear ‘Funky Socks’ and bringing in donations for the less privileged.
Everyone is getting very excited about the PTA’s Sponsored Walk and Family Fun Day on Sunday. The walk will begin at 9:30am. However, registrations and the handing in of Sponsor Forms and Indemnity Forms, for those who have not yet handed them in, will be from 8:30am. The Grade 7’s will have stalls, there will be food and drinks on sale and activities for children including water slides etc. This special annual event is always looked forward to.
Next week is Exam Week. There will be no afternoon activities except for fixtures. Day Boarding will continue for those who have informed the office that they will be staying for Day Boarding during Exam Week.
We will be holding our New Parents Meeting next Wednesday at 4:00pm in the School Hall. All parents whose children will be joining Bishopslea next year are invited to attend.
We have installed a second solar battery, which will further reduce generator usage during cloudy and rainy days and the subsequent disruption.
