Dear Parents
Our Grade 7’s have now completed their second week of their Grade 7 ZIMSEC Exams and have only one exam left to write, which will be written on Monday. We commend all our Grade 7’s for their positive attitudes and determination.
We have had a most successful sporting week with our tennis teams playing their league matches and our swimming teams competing most successfully in their first gala of the season. Results follow.
Parents are still sending their sick children to school. This week alone we have had 44 children sent to Sick Bay because they are unwell. All were subsequently sent home as they were too ill to stay at school. This number excludes the pupils sent to sick bay for cuts, bruises, bee stings etc. Please note that, apart from us not having the capacity to look after all these sick children in sick bay until the end of school, our policy is that we do not allow children with symptoms of colds, flu, sore throats, swollen tonsils, temperatures, vomiting, diarrhea etc. to be at school. Parents of pupils exhibiting symptoms will be asked to come and collect their children.
We will be hosting our annual Bishopslea Invitational Gala next Wednesday afternoon.
