- Art is taught throughout the grades. Infants art is taught by the class teachers. However, Grade 3-7 art is taught by a specialist teacher.
- Our art aims to enhance the skill of drawing, painting and to develop their visual appreciation and creativity
- Pupils will gain a working knowledge of a variety of methods and media, e.g., pastel, pencil, watercolour, poster colour and crayons.
- Learners also develop visual elements such as line, tone, shape and texture.
- Learners will become knowledgeable through research on topical issues such as floods, children’s rights and rural industrialization.
- The school participates in a number of exhibitions throughout the year, including the National Institute of Allied Arts Visual Arts Festival in which the children are well recognized and always win awards.
