Dear Parents
The first Inter-Schools Cross Country held at Gateway last Friday was most exciting.  Four of the five winning runners of the Girls events were Bishopslea girls, the first four U13 runners in were all Bishopslea girls, Makanaka Mawere broke the U13 Girls Record and Bishopslea pupils now hold all five records.  Our ‘A’ Team also won the Girls Section convincingly.  Our congratulations go to all our pupils in the team.  Their efforts, behaviour and team spirit all stood out.

Our ‘A’ and ‘B’ team Country teams travel to Eaglesvale this afternoon to take part in the second cross country meet of the season.  We wish them every success.

Our Fillies and U13 Tennis teams played against Barwick this week.  Our congratulations go to all four teams who played extremely well.  Results are listed below.

We have had vehicle-tracking devices fitted to all our buses.  Parents can log onto the website to monitor where their daughters are when travelling on the bus.  This should prove most useful with regards to estimating bus arrival time back at school.  The instructions and password for logging in follow.

The PTA will be holding their AGM and Welcome Back Cocktail Party on Wednesday 17^th February.  All parents are welcome and parents are asked to please consider being nominated to go onto the committee.  The PTA plays a crucial role in the school for which we are all extremely grateful.  However, it is dependent on parents are willing to participate and contribute.

The Grade 5 parents traditionally play an important function as well as they support the PTA and have a representative from each class on the PTA committee to help co-ordinate the assistance.

Finally, we have had the water from our boreholes tested and declared completely safe for human consumption.
