Dear Parents

This is a very special time of the year with bracing early mornings, warm sunny days and cool evenings, which will be felt at the PTA’s Movie Night next Friday night.  Details of the Movie Night follow.

Grade 6B return from their camp to Far & Wide today and hopefully had as exceptional a time as Grade 6H appear to have had.  The camp is a wonderful experience for our pupils when they are in Grade 6.

Our hockey and netball teams are gaining experience with matches becoming very exciting and riveting to watch. Results of this weeks matches follow.

Next Wednesday evening our Senior Choir has been invited to sing at Arundel’s Foundation Day Service in the Anglican Cathedral at which Arundel will be celebrating their 60th Anniversary.  The choir is also rehearsing for the Combined Schools Choir Concert and the Grade 3 – 5 pupils are all busy rehearsing for their end of term production.

Everyone is looking forward to this long weekend as Africa Day falls on Monday.  School will re-open next Tuesday.

PTA’s Movie Nigh

The PTA will be holding their Annual Movie Night next Friday, 29th May with the film starting at 6:30pm on the netball field.  Tickets for children are $5:00 including a hotdog and a drink.  Parents are asked to buy tickets in advance from the office.  Tickets for parents are $2 but do not include food, which can be bought on the night.  There will also be a bar.  The netball field will be demarcated with the front area reserved for those sitting on the ground and the area behind for chairs, which parents can bring.  It is advised to bring groundsheets, rugs etc as it will be cold.  The film to be shown is ‘Home’.

School Fees

As pay day for many is next week the deadline for paying this term’s fees in full without incurring the $100:00 admin fee has been extended to Friday 29th May.
