Dear Parents

Term is rapidly coming to a close with school ending next Thursday at 1:00pm.

Before then, though, there are a number of events to be held.

There has been great excitement this week for the Inter-House Sports Day tomorrow.  The high and long jump events were held on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.  The standard was a great indication that the Sports Day will be very exciting.  Details of the Sports Day follow.

First Term Reports are being sent home with pupils today in advance of the Parent/Teacher Consultation Days to be held on Monday and Tuesday afternoons next week.  Parents have all been allocated times and are asked to please adhere to them.

Inter-House Sports Day
We are holding our Annual Inter-House Sports Day for all pupils in Grade 3 – 7 tomorrow, 2nd April starting at 8.30am.  All team lists are up on the notice board.  Girls should be here by 8:00am dressed in house colour T-shirts, white socks, takkies, tracksuits, hats and name badges.  They are also reminded to bring sun cream.  They should meet on the netball field with their house captains for warm-up and roll call.  Please would pupils not bring juice as this attracts bees to the tents.  Water will be provided.  Prize Giving should be at approximately 12:15pm.  All parents, family and friends of Bishopslea are invited. The PTA will be selling food and drinks during and after the event. 

Please note that parents, relatives etc. are not allowed to go to the competitors’ tents during the events and are not allowed to give the competitors drinks and food until the event is over.
